James began his career working for a company specializing in user interface controls, focusing on LCD and touchscreen integration, and custom control user interface devices. He began as a mechanical design engineer, and quickly accelerated into a project management role. He then joined a Fortune 500 company and became part of the design team, supporting supply chain and operations, that developed the Secure Mobile Environment-Portable Electronic Device; a product that is still used by the US president and his top brass today. Shortly after product launch, James joined a global leader in the Electronic Manufacturing Services space, serving in roles supporting engineering, program and account management, supply chain and operations. With P&L responsibility, James now leads front-end business development as a sales director. James has lived on 3 continents and has a sound understanding of the European, N. American, and SE Asian business environments.
Craig has been a long time resident of Washington State and is a University of Washington grad with a degree in Communications. Craig began his career managing a multi-location framing and art supply business until 1987, when he opened ART(ft)2, a first of its kind wholesale picture framing company. ART(ft)2 specialized in framing for galleries, artists, hotels and restaurants until its sale in 2007. With an eye on restaurant ownership, Craig began a career in Bartending, once again sparking his entrepreneurial spirit developing bar-related products. Craig lives in Redmond WA, with his wife and son.
Prior to Fonester, Mike served as the Vice President -GSM On Premise for Southern Wine and Spirits in Seattle WA, the country's largest wine and spirits distributor. Previous to that, Mike was the Business Unit Director- Western Control States for Pernod Richard USA where he led sales of their diverse portfolio of brands, including Absolut, Jameson, Malibu and Kahlua. Mike also held a number of sales and marketing roles with DIAGEO Guinness-North America, where as Innovation Manager he steered the US launch of several brands from Guinness, Smirnoff, Captain Morgan and Smithwicks Irish Ale. His 17 years of beverage experience began with the E&J Gallo Winery, where he served 5 years in their Management Development Program. Mike has been recognized by many as an industry professional.
